Use this recipe to get your kids involved in snack time!
Apple donuts with a toppings bar make a great playdate snack so that each kid can make their own.
INGREDIENTS
▢1 apple
▢¼ tsp cinnamon ground
▢¼ tsp vanilla extract
▢1 tbsp almond butter
Suggested Toppings
▢ground cinnamon
▢coconut flakes
▢hemp hearts
▢raisins
▢fresh fruit
Instructions
Core the apple then slice into 1/4 inch rings.
Stir together cinnamon, vanilla and almond butter.
Top with your favorite toppings as suggested above.
Notes
1.Swap apples with bananas, pears or the fruit of your choice.
2.Use the nut or seed butter of your choice.
3.Feel free to top however you want. Dye-free sprinkles, chocolate chips, chopped nuts and more all make great toppings.
4.If you want these apples to last all morning, squeeze lemon or lime juice on them then store them in an air-tight container until snack time. Store toppings in a separate container until ready to serve.

How to set up voice search
1. Go to your neighborhood or park/outdoor space.
2. Give each child a piece of paper and a marker/pencil and scrapbook.
3. Have everyone find a spot in a meadow or in nature and listen to what they can hear.
*Preschoolers/toddlers may work with adults or older siblings.
Adults can write and toddlers/preschoolers can tell what they hear.
4. Write/draw what you hear on paper to create your own hunting page.
